EYFS Write Dance

In EYFS we have been increasing the strength in our wrists by taking part in Write Dance activities. We have enjoyed swishing ribbons to music too! We then put the movements we had learnt in the air onto paper. The marks we made told a story of a walk in the country. After making these marks we looked more closely at them and found creatures lurking there!

Year 2 Karate club

The Year 2 children have been really lucky to have the opportunity to extend their fitness in a karate after school club. They have enjoyed learning new skills and even some Japanese names for the moves they have learnt. They have learnt self-discipline and respect for each other whilst building on  their team skills. Some movements are difficult and the children have learnt the importance of persevering to master these skills.
